‘Inclusive business’ is a term used to describe business strategies focusing on meeting the needs of the 4.5 billion individuals living on less than $8 per day. This session will explore a number of inclusive business opportunities in Bangladesh and Myanmar. Inclusive Business Sweden is a Swedish organization engaging and supporting organizations in sustainable, innovative and inclusive business models with developing markets.

Earlier this year, we travelled to Bangladesh and Myanmar to identify, map and develop inclusive business opportunities – aiming in the long-run to find investment openings for Swedish and international companies in the textiles and clothing sector. These opportunities are designed to use less of our natural resources and to have a positive impact for the people engaged in the value chain.

Join this workshop to learn more about inclusive business in general, and about these exciting opportunities in particular. The workshop is arranged by Mistra Future Fashion, research program for sustainable fashion.
